The Northern Territory Police Force is investigating an alleged indecent assault that occurred yesterday in Alice Springs.
Around 12:10pm, the Joint Emergency Services Communication Centre received reports that an adult female had been indecently assaulted in a carpark on Gregory Terrace.
It is alleged the victim was placing her child into her vehicle when an unknown male approached her and indecently assaulted her. The offender was allegedly in the company of two other males, with all three fleeing the area on foot.
Police attended and investigations are ongoing.
The offender is described as being a male youth of Aboriginal appearance, wearing a red and black 'Jordan 23' basketball jersey/singlet, long black pants and a black cap with white writing.
