Police investigate Mannibadar collision

Police are investigating following a head-on collision near Mannibadar yesterday, Victoria Police say.

Two sedans collided on the Rokewood-Skipton Road just before 3.30pm.

Three people were trapped inside the wreckage of the vehicles following the collision.

The driver of one vehicle, a 19-year-old Ararat man, and his passenger, a 19-year-old Ararat woman, were freed and conveyed to hospital in Melbourne.

The female driver of the second vehicle, an 18-year-old Geelong woman, was also conveyed to hospital.

She was the sole occupant of her vehicle.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit attended the scene and are investigating the incident.

Anyone who witnessed the collision or the vehicles in the lead up to it is urged to Crime Stoppers.
