Corio police are investigating a series of rock throwing incidents along the Geelong Ring Road this month.
Investigators understand there have been three separate incidents of rocks being thrown from the Creamery Road overpass.
On 22 June the male victim was travelling south bound along the Ring Road when a rock struck the front windscreen while passing under the overpass, shortly after 6am.
Luckily the 42-year-old driver was not injured.
On 23 June a 52-year-old man was traveling south bound on the Ring Road in the left lane when his front windscreen was struck by two rocks as he travelled under the overpass, about 2am.
The driver took evasive action which then led to the car side swiping the barrier.
The driver sustained minor injuries.
On 29 June a husband and wife were travelling in separate vehicles in convoy south bound along the Ring Road.
Again, when the vehicles went under the Creamery Road overpass rocks were thrown, striking the windscreen and bonnet of the first vehicle and the roof of the second vehicle, about 10.20pm.
The 70-year-old man and 69-year-old woman were extremely shaken from the incident.
Police are appealing for any witnesses around the Ring Road area at the time of these incidents.
