Police are investigating after a 39-year-old man was assaulted at Hope Island on Saturday night, May 27.
Around 9.20pm police were called to a premises at Masthead Way after reports of a man being punched.
The man was transported to the Gold Coast Hospital where he remains in a critical condition in the Intensive Care Unit.
Anyone who witnessed the incident or may have vision to assist police is urged to make contact.
