A 48-year-old Lamb Island man is in a serious condition in Royal Brisbane and Women's Hospital following a serious assault overnight.
Around 1am, police and paramedics were called to a Perulpa Drive residence where the man was found with life-threatening facial injuries.
A crime scene has been established at the house as the circumstances of the assault are investigated.
A man and woman who were known to the man are also assisting police with their enquiries.
Investigations into the matter continue.
