Police investigate sexual assault at Seaford beach

Detectives from Frankston Sexual Offence and Child abuse Investigation Team are investigating a sexual assault which occurred in Seaford on 21 April.

Investigators have been told a 24-year-old woman was at Seaford beach around 5pm when a man approached and sexually assaulted the woman.

It's believed the man inappropriately kissed and touched her, causing the woman to push the unknown man away and run from the area.

The alleged offender is described as Indian Sub-continental in appearance, around 28 years old, 170cm tall, unshaven with a slim build, short dark-brown hair and large round eyes.

He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a brown shirt with a fluorescent orange logo and no shoes.

The man was last seen walking along Seaford beach towards the Frankston Foreshore.

Investigators have released a computer-generated image of a man police believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.
