Police investigate thefts and deceptions in Dandenong area

Police are investigating the theft and use of a credit card in the Dandenong area last month.

An unknown man has broken into a car on David Street in Dandenong sometime between 22-23 June.

The man stole a wallet containing a credit card, using it at four service stations in Dandenong before catching a taxi to a Frankston North fast food drive thru to purchase food.

The man then caught a taxi to Springvale.

He is described as aged in his late 30s to early 40s with a distinct dark coloured tattoo on his left hand and he spoke with a foreign accent.

He was wearing a red and blue jacket with the hood over his head as depicted in the images released by investigators.
