Police are investigating the circumstances surrounding a fatal collision in Traralgon this morning.
Officers have been told the driver of a Subaru sedan travelling south along Village Avenue crashed into a pole just before 3am.
The man, aged in his 60s, died at the scene.
His female passenger, aged in her 50s, was not injured.
All east bound lanes are closed on the Princes Highway along with Village Avenue, remain closed and motorists are advised to take Old Melbourne Road through Morwell.
