Police investigate Yarrawonga near miss

Officers from Cobram Highway Patrol are appealing for public assistance after a traffic incident in Yarrawonga earlier this month.

Police were at a preliminary breath testing site on Murray Valley Highway about 5.30pm on Monday 9 September.

A white single cab ute, bearing false plates AMG-263, drove through the site, narrowly missing police.

The ute stopped a short distance away and then drove off at high speed.

It was detected by another police unit travelling at 155km/h but not pursued.

Police have released an image of a man that they believe may be able to assist with their enquires.
