Police Investigating After Body Found At Werrington

An investigation is underway after a body was found in bushland in Sydney's west earlier today.

Officers attached to Nepean Police Area Command were called to a reserve off Irwin Street at Werrington about 1.15pm (Sunday 15 June 2025).

A crime scene has been established and an investigation has commenced by Nepean detectives, who are being assisted by the State Crime Command's Homcide Squad.

A canvass of the area is now being conducted by local police, assisted by PolAir.
