A teenage boy has died after a car rolled on the state's Central Coast this morning.
About 2.20am today (Monday 14 September 2026), emergency services were called to Alukea Avenue, near Kurrawa Avenue, Point Clare, after reports of a Mazda sedan had rolled between the rail corridor and the roadway between Point Clare Station and Tascott Station.
Officers attached to Brisbane Water Police District were told the vehicle had left the road at a bend on the rail overpass, before it landed into the rail corridor and rolled.
One of the passengers – a teenage boy – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Gosford Hospital; however, he died on arrival.
He is yet to be formally identified.
The driver – an 18-year-old woman – was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to the same hospital for mandatory testing under police guard.
The second passenger – also an 18-year-old woman – was airlifted to Royal North Shore Hospital in a serious condition.
A crime scene has been established and officers attached to Crash Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A report will be prepared for the information of the Coroner.
