Police investigating after firearms stolen from New Norfolk

Tasmania Police is investigating the theft of seven registered firearms and ammunition from a house in North Crescent, New Norfolk yesterday.

Police were called to the house about 4.30pm on Monday 13 January after the owner returned home to find the front door lock had been forced open.

The owner's gun safe and a separate container containing ammunition were also forced open.

The stolen firearms include 3x double barrel shotguns, 3x rifles and 1x single barrel shotgun.
