An investigation is underway after a man presented to hospital with a gunshot wound in Sydney's south west last night.
About 11pm (Monday 1 December 2025), police were called to Fairfield Hospital following reports a 43-year-old man had presented to the hospital with a gunshot wound to his leg.
He was later transferred to another hospital for further treatment.
Detectives from Cumberland Police Area Command have commenced an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
The vehicle in which the man was transported to hospital has been seized for forensic examination.
