An investigation is underway after three people were injured in a crash in Sydney's south today.
About 2.30pm (Saturday 5 July 2025), emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, north of Tom Uglys Bridge, Blakehurst, following reports of a crash.
Officers attached to St George Police Area Command attended and found a Mazda sedan and a Lexus SUV had collided head on.
The driver of the Mazda – and sole occupant – an 87-year-old woman – was trapped before being released by Fire and Rescue NSW.
She remains on scene and is being treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics for serious leg.
The driver of the Lexus – a 44-year-old man – and passenger – a 13-year-old boy – were treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to St George Hospital in a stable condition.
A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the crash is underway.
