Police Investigating After Stabbing - Macquarie Fields

Police have commenced an investigation after an alleged assault in Sydney's south west.

About 7.30pm yesterday (Tuesday 16 June 2026), emergency services were called to Sarissa Way, Macquarie Fields, following reports a man had been assaulted outside a home after a loud argument.

NSW Ambulance paramedics treated a 46-year-old man for several stab wounds to the upper body, before he was taken to Liverpool Hospital in a stable condition.

Officers attached to Campbelltown City Police Area Command established a crime scene and commenced an investigation into the incident.

Several items were seized for forensic analysis.
