Police investigating after teenager suffers minor laceration at Parramatta

Police are investigating after a teenage boy was injured during an alleged assault in Parramatta this afternoon.

About 4.10pm today (Monday 18 October 2021), emergency services were called to George Street, Parramatta, following reports a teenager had been injured.

A 15-year-old boy was found with a minor laceration to his back. He was treated by NSW Ambulance on scene before being taken to Westmead Children's Hospital in a stable condition.

A crime scene has been established and officers from Parramatta City Police Area Command have commenced an investigation.

Following inquiries, officers found three teenage boys in a carpark on Marsden Street, Parramatta. They were arrested and taken to Parramatta Police Station. Inquiries are continuing.
