Police investigating aggravated burglary at New Norfolk

Police are investigating an aggravated burglary at a residence at New Norfolk today.

Around 2:40pm, police received information that a burglary was in progress at an address on Back River Road.

Several police units converged on the area and apprehended three offenders a short distance away from the scene.

A 39-year-old man from Dromedary, 31-year-old man from Gagebrook, and 16-year-old from New Norfolk have each been charged with Aggravated Burglary. They have been bailed to appear before the court at a later date.

Investigations into the incident are ongoing to located a fourth offender involved, believed to be a 16-year-old.
