Police investigating arson at Boronia Heights

Police are investigating two connected arsons at Boronia Heights overnight.

Initial investigations indicate just after midnight, two people attended a business on Fedrick Street in Boronia Heights.

The have used a hammer and metal bar to smash the front glass door and appeared to tip fuel through the hole and set it alight.

They left in a stolen Porsche which was located burnt out a short time later on Kadlunga Court.

The business suffered minor damage however the car was destroyed by the fire.

The Porsche was stolen on April 2 from a Jimboomba residence.

Detectives are appealing for anyone with relevant CCTV or dashcam vision to contact police.
