Police investigating disturbance at Lighthouse Hotel on 17 January

Police are investigating a disturbance at the Lighthouse Hotel in Ulverstone on 17 January when a number of assaults took place and property was damaged.

Police were called to a disturbance in the main bar area of the hotel around 8.45pm.

A number of assaults had occurred and a number of windows and other items had been damaged.

Police are working to identify the people who initiated and were involved in the disturbance. At this stage no arrests have been made.

Police wish to reassure the community that this type of incident is uncommon and reports are rarely received of this behaviour.
