Police Investigating Hit And Run At West Beach

A motorcyclist is in hospital following a hit and run at West Beach last night.

At 10.50pm on Wednesday 6 March police and emergency services were called to Tapleys Hill Road with the intersection of West Beach Road after reports a motorcyclist had been hit by a Ute which had left the scene.

The rider of the Yamaha, a 66 year-old man from Warradale suffered serious injuries and was taken hospital where he remains in a stable but serious condition.

Police are searching for a Red Ute with a red canopy with a silver roof rack and bull bar on the front that fled the scene.
