Police investigating shooting incident at Buccan

Logan detectives are investigating after two men sustained gunshot wounds while in a vehicle at Buccan overnight.

Around 2.20am, emergency services were called to Hein Road after reports a man has sustained a gun shot wound to the face and another man had been shot in the arm.

A 24-year-old man, who was a passenger in the vehicle, sustained head injuries and was transported to hospital in a serious condition.

The 28-year-old male driver of the vehicle was shot in the arm and was also transported to hospital in a stable condition.

Investigators are appealing for anyone who may have seen the victim's vehicle, a silver 2020 Kia Cerato in the Yarrabilba and Buccan area particularly in the area of Hein Road near The Aspect from 2am to contact police.

Anyone with information or dashcam that could assist the investigation is asked to contact police.
