Police investigating wounding at Coopers Plains

Detectives are investigating following a wounding incident at Coopers Plains, in Brisbane's south yesterday, November 5.

Initial investigations indicate around 4.20pm, a 45-year-old woman was walking on Orange Grove Road before she was approached by a man.

The man punched her in the stomach and cut her arm.

He left the scene prior to police arrival and remains outstanding.

The woman was transported to The Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators are appealing to anyone who may have further information or relevant vision, to come forward.

The man is not known to the woman and investigations are continuing.
