Police investigating wounding at Pimpama

Police have arrested two teenagers after a 48-year-old man was allegedly stabbed at Pimpama this afternoon.

Around 3pm, a 48-year-old man had an argument with teenagers at a Yawakoah Road address.

It will be alleged he received a puncture wound to his chest, armpit and face, from a pair of scissors.

Paramedics attended the scene where they treated the man. He was transported to Gold Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.

Police located two people a short distance away and they were taken into custody.

A 15-year-old boy has been charged with wounding.

A 17-year-old girl Has been charged with stealing.

They both will be will be dealt with under the provisions of The Youth Justice Act
