Police are investigating after a man sustained a stab wound at Pimpama overnight.
Around 7.30pm the man has told police he was sitting in his car at Bull Road when he was approached by a man known to him. The man allegedly stabbed him in the torso through the open car window.
The injured man drove to Commercial Street at Upper Coomera where he contacted emergency services.
He was transported to the Gold Coast University Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police investigations are continuing.
