Police investigating wounding at South Brisbane

Police are investigating an incident in South Brisbane last night which resulted in a 17-year-old boy receiving life-threatening injuries.

At 8.30pm, officers were called to Clarence Street following reports the boy had received wounds consistent with being stabbed.

He was transported to the Princess Alexandra hospital for treatment to serious injuries.

Investigations are continuing by detectives from the Criminal Investigations Branch.
