Police issue geo-target SMS to help locate missing elderly man - Corrimal

An SMS geo-targeting alert has been issued for the Corrimal area. If you receive an SMS message from +61 444 444 444, this is not a scam

Police are appealing for public assistance to locate an elderly man missing from the state's south coast.

Kenneth O'Brien, aged 77, was last seen in Cox's Avenue, Corrimal, about 7.30pm today (Saturday 5 November 2022).

Officers attached to Wollongong Police District have commenced inquiries to locate him and have since issued an SMS geo-targeting alert.

Family and police hold concerns for Kenneth's welfare due to his age. Kenneth also lives with dementia.

Kenneth is described as being of Caucasian appearance, a thin build, with brown hair and blue eyes.

He was last seen wearing a white check long sleeve pyjama top with long grey pants.

Anyone who may have seen Kenneth, or may know of his whereabouts, is urged to contact police.
