To avoid any further confusion in media reporting, NSW Police Force would like to clarify that officers did not conduct any drug or alcohol testing at the Good Life/Lost City music festival.
NSW Police is aware a private contractor, engaged by the event organisers, conducted drug and alcohol testing at the festival as part of the overall safety strategy.
As is standard practice, NSW Police worked closely with event organisers to ensure the safety and security of all attendees.
