A 31-year old male has been charged with driving a vehicle causing death and dangerous driving after an investigation into a four-vehicle fatal crash on McMillans Road in Knuckey Lagoon on 30 July 2019.
The man was driving a garbage truck which crashed into the rear of two vehicles before the truck crossed McMillans Road and collided head-on with a hatchback.
The 51 year-old-female hatchback driver died at the scene.
NT Police Major Crash Investigation Unit detectives today served the garbage truck driver with a Notice to Appear.
He will appear in the Darwin Local Court on 15 January 2020.
