Police launch investigation into pedestrian crash at Darlington

Police are appealing for witnesses following a crash at Darlington yesterday.

Emergency services were called to the intersection of Cleveland Street and Abercrombie Street, Darlington about 4.20pm yesterday (Tuesday 6 April 2021), following reports of a collision between a white Mitsubishi Lancer and a pedestrian.

Officers from South Sydney Police Area Command attended and commenced an investigation.

The 32-year-old male pedestrian was treated at the scene by paramedics from NSW Ambulance before being conveyed to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The Lancer driver, a 19-year-old man, was not injured.

As investigations continue, police are appealing for anyone with information or dash cam footage to come forward.
