Police launch investigation into two-vehicle crash at Tweed Heads

Investigations are continuing into a two-vehicle crash on the state's Far North Coast.

Just after 1.30pm today (Friday 8 May 2020), emergency services were called to the Kennedy Drive off-ramp at Tweed Heads, following reports of a crash involving a motorcycle and car.

The motorcyclist, a 51-year-old man, was treated on scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to The Tweed Hospital.

The driver, a 57-year-old woman, was not injured and underwent a roadside breath test, which allegedly returned a negative result.

Officers from Tweed/Byron Police District established a crime scene with the Crash Investigation Unit to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
