Police launch Operation New Year's Eve 2022 ahead of celebrations

Senior police will join by NSW Ambulance paramedics to launch the high-visibility police operation ahead of Sydney's New Year's Eve celebrations.

Operation New Year's Eve 2022 will be in place tomorrow (Saturday 31 December 2022), ensuring to the community is safe as they make their way to New Year's Eve events in and around Sydney, as well as other celebrations across the state.

Officers will be deployed on the ground, on and around the water, and in the air, focusing on Sydney Harbour and its multiple foreshore areas.
