Police lay arson charges at Nambour

Police have charged two girls following investigations into a suspicious fire, reported this morning in Nambour.

Police will allege the fire was lit in a downstairs bedroom and spread through the house causing significant damage.

Two girls aged 14 and 13 years old were each charged with one count of arson, two counts of assault occasioning bodily harm, two counts of serious animal cruelty and are due to appear at the Maroochydore Magistrates Court tomorrow.
