Police lay arson charges, Koongal

A 29-year-old Mount Larcom woman has been charged following extensive investigations into a suspicious house fire in Koongal last year.

Police will allege the woman deliberately lit a fire at a Grubb Street residence around 7.20pm on August 6.

No one was injured at the time of the incident.

The woman has been charged with one count each of arson and attempted fraud.

She is due to appear before Rockhampton Magistrates Court on June 15.
