Transit Crime Investigation Unit detectives have charged seven people following an armed robbery in Ashburton on 1 April.
It is alleged a teenager was set upon by a group of up to nine males outside a train station on Welfare Parade about 6.20pm.
Investigators were told a 16-year-old boy was stabbed with an edged weapon and two 16-year-old boys had their shoes stolen before the group of males ran away towards High Street.
The victim, a 16-year-old Surrey Hills boy, was taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Investigators have charged seven youths in relation to the incident and are yet to locate one other person believed to have been involved.
A 15-year-old Kew boy has been charged with armed robbery, affray, intent to cause injury and recklessly cause injury.
A 15-year-old Maribyrnong boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
A 15-year-old Richmond boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
A 14-year-old Hawthorn boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
A 15-year-old Tarneit boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
A 14-year-old Richmond boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
A 16-year-old Albert Park boy has been charged with robbery and affray.
All seven have been bailed to appear at a children's court at a later date.
A 14-year-old Kew boy handed himself into police and has been released pending summons.
