Police are appealing for public assistance following a serious assault in Bahrs Scrub this morning, 26 July.
Around 2.16am, officers were called to Discovery Boulevard following reports of a large disturbance involving a group of people.
Police arrived on scene approximately eight minutes later, where they observed significant damage had been caused to a number of vehicles on the street, as well as damage to a residence.
As members of the group fled the scene, officers were alerted to a 21-year-old Redbank Plains man having been located nearby on Orchard Avenue with significant head injuries.
The man was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
Anyone with information that could assist, including anyone with relevant CCTV, home security or dashcam vision of the area around the time of the incident, is urged to contact police.
