Transit Crime Investigation Unit have charged a man following an alleged sexual assault in January.
Investigators have been told a 26-year-old woman was allegedly assaulted on a platform at Flinders Street train station about 6.50pm on 19 January.
A 19-year-old Wallan man has been charged with two counts of sexual assault.
He has been bailed to appear at Melbourne Magistrates Court on 30 May.
