Police have arrested a man and seized a firearm, drugs, weapons and cash after a search warrant was executed in Lara this morning.
Detectives from the Western Region Crime Squad executed the warrant in Altair Avenue about 9.40am.
Officers seized a handgun, what is believed to be a quantity of methylamphetamines, cash, ammunition and prohibited weapons.
A 36-year-old Lara man was charged with prohibited person possess firearm, possess drug of dependence, deal with property suspected being the proceeds of crime and other firearms offences.
He will face court today.
