Homicide Squad detectives have charged a woman following the death of a man in Orbost last night.
Emergency services were called to Gladstone Street address just after 8pm on Thursday, 11 December.
A 43-year-old man was located deceased inside the property.
A 33-year-old woman was arrested at the scene and has this evening been charged with murder.
The man and the woman were known to each other.
She has been remanded to appear in Bairnsdale Magistrates' Court on 15 December.
