Northern Territory Police have charged a 20-year-old man following an alleged aggravated assault.
At about 9:00pm last night, the man allegedly struck his 24-year-old partner to the head. The woman suffered serious injuries and was treated at the local clinic. CareFlight medivacked the woman to Darwin today.
The man was charged with:
- unlawfully cause serious harm
- armed with offensive weapon.
He is due to appear in Darwin Local Court on Wednesday 27 May 2020.
