Police lay charges - Aggravated Robbery - Greater Darwin

Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged a 16-year-old male in relation to an alleged aggravated robbery last week.

At about 8:00pm on Friday 1 October, the youth allegedly assaulted a worker at a bus stop near a shopping centre in Casuarina, before fleeing the scene.

At about 10:00pm the same night, the youth allegedly threatened a 24-year-old female with an edged weapon in Palmerston, stealing a small quantity of cash.

Strike Force Trident detectives have charges the male with:

  • Serious breach bail
  • Assault a worker
  • Aggravated robbery

He has been remanded to appear before court today.
