A 16-year-old male has been arrested and charged following a domestic violence related assault in Alice Springs.
It is alleged the male physically assaulted his female partner at an address on South Terrace on Monday evening, before further assaulting her yesterday morning around 11:30am inside a shopping centre on Hartley Street.
Police attended the shopping centre and arrested the 16-year-old. The victim was conveyed to hospital for assessment of non-life-threatening injuries.
The offender has since been charged with two counts of Aggravated Assault and was remanded to appear in court today.
