Detectives from Major Crash Investigation Unit have charged a 27-year-old male in relation to a fatal crash which occurred in Stapleton on 13 August 2019.
The 27-year-old male and his five-year-old son were the only occupants of the vehicle. The five-year-old boy died as a result of injuries suffered during the crash.
The male has been charged with:
- drive motor vehicle cause death
- drive without due care
- drive high range blood alcohol content
- drive with prohibited drug in blood
- drive - child not using restraint
He will appear in Darwin Local Court today.
