Police lay charges over property offences in Darwin area 19 April

Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged a woman in relation to a number of property offences committed primarily in the northern suburbs.

Police allege the 18-year-old unlawfully entered a number of residences and businesses in Berrimah, Malak, Marrara and Stuart Park between 3 and 16 April 2021.

She was arrested on Friday and Strike Force Trident Detectives later charged her with:

  • 6 x Unlawful entry - dwelling
  • 1 x Unlawful entry - building
  • 5 x Stealing
  • 1 x Damage to property
  • 2 x Aggravated unlawful use of motor vehicle
  • 1 x Drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed
  • 1 x Breach of bail adult

She was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
