Strike Force Viper have charged a 40-year-old man following an unlawful entry at a residential premises yesterday morning.
It is alleged that the man unlawfully entered the premises on Willshire Street, Alice Springs, where he was confronted by the female occupant before allegedly assaulting her.
The victim received minor injuries.
Strike Force Viper located the offender a short time later and he has since been charged with:
- Aggravated unlawful entry
- Aggravated assault
He was remanded to appear in Alice Springs Local Court today.
