Police lay charges - Robbery - Stuart Park

Northern Territory Police have arrested a 33-year-old man in relation to a robbery.

Around 7:30pm on Sunday 16 August 2020, the man allegedly stole an item from a business in Stuart Park.

A 21-year-old female employee approached the man and took the item back which resulted in the man taking a second item off the shelf. The man then grabbed the employee by the arm and caused her to fear for her safety. The man left the store with one item. The employee was not injured.

Casuarina Police officers later located the man in Wagaman in possession of the stolen property.

Strike Force Trident detectives have charged the male with robbery and he was refused police bail.
