Northern Territory Police have arrested and charged a man in relation to an alleged sexual assault in Alice Springs on Sunday.
It is alleged that in the early hours of the morning, a 24-year-old male sexually assaulted an 18-year-old female at his residence. It is understood they were known to each other.
The male was arrested the next day and charged with:
- 1 x Sexual intercourse without consent
- 1 x Supply schedule 1 drug less than commercial quantity
He was remanded in custody to appear before Alice Springs Local Court on 13 May 2021.
