A man has been charged with murder after two people died following a stabbing at Quakers Hill this morning.
Emergency services were called to a home on Illabo Street just before 5am today (Sunday 28 December 2025), after reports of a disturbance.
Officers from Riverstone Police Area Command attended and found a man on the footpath suffering stab wounds to his stomach and hands.
A 38-year-old woman was found deceased inside the kitchen of the home. She, too, had suffered multiple stab wounds.
A 30-year-old man was treated by NSW Ambulance paramedics before being taken to Liverpool Hospital in a critical condition. Police were advised he died there about 9am.
A crime scene was established with detectives commencing an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the incident under Strike Force Acoma.
About 5.30am, a 47-year-old man was arrested after attending Blacktown Police Station.
He has now been charged with two counts of murder.
The man has been refused bail to appear at Bail Division Court 6 tomorrow (Monday 29 December 2025).
