Police Liaison Officer suspended in Northern Region, QLD

A 26-year-old Police Liaison Officer from Northern Region has been suspended from official duty with the Queensland Police Service, Queensland Police say.

The Police Liaison Officer has been charged with two breaches of a domestic violence protection order and one count of choking in a domestic violence relationship.

In keeping with our commitment to high standards of behaviour, transparency and accountability, we have an undertaking to inform the public when a member faces disciplinary processes involving stand down or suspension.

This does not mean that the allegations against the member have been substantiated.
