Police investigating a serious traffic crash in Belmont last night, 26 September, are appealing for witnesses or anyone with relevant dashcam vision to come forward.
Initial investigations indicate shortly before 9:45pm, a pedestrian was struck by two vehicles on Old Cleveland Road.
The first vehicle, a dark SUV vehicle, left the scene before emergency services arrived.
The pedestrian, a 16-year-old Wynnum boy, was transported to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The driver of the second vehicle, a 19-year-old Zillmere man, was not injured.
Investigations into the circumstances surrounding the crash are ongoing.
Anyone who was in the area at the time and may have relevant dashcam vision is urged to contact police.
