A boy reported missing from the Blue Mountains has been located safe and well.
A 12-year-old-boy was reported missing after he was last seen in Katoomba about 3.45pm yesterday (Wednesday 21 June 2023).
When he failed to return home, officers from the Blue Mountains Police Area Command were notified and commenced inquiries to locate him.
Following inquiries, including a public appeal, the boy was located safe and well in Wentworth Falls today (Thursday 22 June 2023).
Police wish to thank the public and the media for their assistance.
